French Green Natural Clay
Transform your soap-making into a spa-like experience with French Green Clay. Renowned for its gentle cleansing and detoxifying benefits, this clay adds elegance and luxury to your soaps.
Color Testing Notes
French Green Clay is a natural ingredient, so its color can vary slightly from batch to batch. In our latest batch testing, it added just a soft hint of green to the soap, though some batches may produce a deeper tone. What remains consistent is the luxurious, silky feel it brings to cold process soap.

Color and feel are great in soap, will buy again
This was a nice clay, but did not make as dark of green I like in soap.
Love it
First time using this in my cp soaps. Mixes well into oils...
Such good quality clay evey time!
This clay adds a wonderful addition to soaps with a beautiful natural shade of green
It's kind of like an army green, but a a shade or two brighter. I like the contrast between lighter colors and darker colors it provides.
Nurture's natural colorants are an excellent quality. The clays are a gorgeous texture and maintain their color through the cure. Very pleased with all of the clays I have tried.
I love using natural colors in my soaps and the French green clay mixed well and ended up being the perfect color for my latest creation. I also love that it shipped in a jar as it is much easier to work with than the bags that most companies ship it in.
I like this clay because it gave my soap a natural subtle color. I love it! Want to try them all!!!

Love Nuture soap clays!! I add clays to all my CP soaps, love the "feel" is adds. In the past I bought clays through Amazon and didn't get the same slip or consistency of color. This makes a lovely olive-green color. I premix all my clays a couple days in advance to prevent acceleration. There is never tiny bits of grit left behind, it blends well. I'm so happy with these clays I bought almost every color Nuture Soap carries. (soap in pic is colored with Nuture soap clays: white kaolin, rose kaolin & french green clay)
I used this in a cucumber soap batch and it added the perfect tint of green and really helped the ground peel standout. It performed well in the batch.
The color of this clay is just beautiful and it didn't seem to cause any acceleration. Glad I ordered the 1 pound bag...plan to use this quite a bit since I personally have oily skin! Bars are curing and I can't wait to try them (pictured on the right)!
I love, love, love, using the French Green Clay in cp soap. I haven’t used it yet in any other type of products but I definitely plan to. It gave the soap such a beautiful color and silky, velvety feel. The darker shades in the soap in the photos below are the French Green Clay. I also really love that it came in nice size options in a good sized jar. So this is basically, a love fest, lol. What are you waiting for? You need this.! Get it now!
Why did I wait so long to use this wonderful clay? It is a lovely natural color and works so well in Cold Process soap. I'm looking forward to using it in future soaping projects!

Perfect muted shade for the natural soaper. Purchased another French Green Clay from Amazon and it was bright green; didn’t look natural at all. I’m sticking with Nurture Soap.
This did not turn out the way I wanted, but it was my error with CP soap
I am just starting to learn about and use clays. This clay gives a nice soft color and adds a silky feel to my soap
Amazing product, beautiful color and excellent for skin
I love all the clays! They color and anchor perfectly! Now I need to get them all! 😂😍
I love this product, it mixes well into cold process soap and provides a lovely earthy green. I pre-mix with water and have not had any problems with it.
