It's used to create swirled patterns inside your soap batter, like the classic hanger swirl or butterfly swirl, by moving the tool through layered colors in an up-down-over motion after pouring. Our hanger swirl tools are shaped to fit specific mold sizes so you get consistent, controlled movement through the batter.

A hanger swirl tool moves through the batter after it's poured to create fluid, painterly swirl patterns. A swirl divider works differently: it physically separates your mold into equal sections (three or four, depending on the setup) so you can pour distinct colors side by side, then remove the divider to let the colors blend into precise, structured designs like the mantra swirl.

For very small amounts, like coloring bath bombs, a mini scoop (around .15cc) gives you precise control. For general mica and colorant measuring in soap, a 4-way measuring spoon covering ¼ tsp to 1 tbsp is a versatile option that scales with your recipe.

An easy pour measuring cup with a narrow spout gives you much more control than a standard mixing bowl, especially for techniques like layering or drop swirls where precision matters.
