Color Check is an automatic read of what we could find online. Ingredient lists aren't always complete, so test a small batch with any new colorant. Every colorant's color is generally brighter if the soap gels. Already made soap and the color went wrong? Send it to Color Rescue.

Does Color Check Cost Anything?
No. Color Check is free. You can check up to 5 colors at a time, and up to 10 checks a day.
Can I Check Colors From Other Shops?
Yes. Paste a link from any shop, including Amazon and Etsy, or type the color's name and brand. When a color won't hold up, we'll suggest a Nurture color that will.
How Does Color Check Decide?
It reads the product page and the safety data sheet, looks for the ingredients and CI numbers, checks what soapers report, and compares everything with our color troubleshooting guides.
How Sure Is the Answer?
It's only as good as what it can find. Some ingredient lists are incomplete, so when something doesn't add up we'll say so. Always test a small batch with a new colorant.
