USPS Shipping Delays

Last updated: October 28, 2026

What's going on

USPS is upgrading equipment at its Indianapolis regional distribution center, which handles most of our outgoing packages. This has slowed package processing, and some orders are taking a week or more longer than usual to arrive. USPS has not given an end date, and we expect delays may continue through the holiday season.

What this means for your order

We're still processing and shipping orders on our normal schedule. Once your package leaves us, it's in USPS's hands. Your tracking may show no updates for several days, or say "In Transit, Arriving Late." That's normal right now, and your package is still on its way.

Please wait before contacting us

If your tracking hasn't updated in 10 business days, email us at support@nurturehandmade.com with your order number and we'll open a case with USPS.

Unfortunately, USPS doesn't let us stop or recall a package once it's in their system, so we can't reship an order until the original arrives or is officially declared lost.

Need it sooner?

UPS shipments aren't affected by the USPS delays. If you need your order by a specific date, we recommend choosing a UPS option at checkout and ordering early for time-sensitive projects.

Thank you for your patience. We'll update this page as USPS shares new information.
