This is such a perfect size loaf mold for me

I couldn't wait to get this and used it the day it arrived. My order was well packaged by Raven, and the mold arrived intact. I do have a liner that fits this mold and I have also used freezer paper; both types of liners work with this mold. I did have to use petroleum jelly to hold the thin silicone liner sides to the mold, but that is the liner issue not the mold issue. The mold is well made with no issues, and the thin liner literally peels away from the finished soap. I especially like that it is not held together with glue, but heavy duty staples, so that I can used it not only when cold process soap making but for CPOP as well. No issues for CPOP, no discoloration or warping of the mold at all. The holes on the bottom do make the release of the soap much easier than other molds I have used. I purchased 2 of these and will be purchasing the 4.5 pound mold next. Shipping was great, (within a week I believe), I was impatient :) so it felt like forever. I would love a tall & skinny version of this size mold. Awesome mold!

What can I say I love these molds. I have four of them, and will probably order a couple more. They work perfectly for smaller batches, or use 2 for larger batches. Best of all--NO LINING--the silicone liners for these molds are durable, don't require any lubrication or other special treatment. They clean up easily with dish detergent and hot water. Because the liners are a little thinner than some others, I've never had "silicone rash" with these molds and they release your freshly made soap easily. Another plus--the molds and liners are safe to use for cpop if you sometimes have to "encourage" your soaps to gel. Really, for the price you can't go wrong with these molds.
