Sodium lactate is an amazing ingredient in all types of skincare. In soaps, it creates a harder bar that lasts longer in the shower. It also helps in making the unmolding of soaps easier from the soap mold. It is truly a must-have ingredient for any soap maker! Sodium lactate is a liquid salt derived from sugars such as beets and corn. We adore this ingredient and use it in all of our soaps at Nurture!
The recommended usage rate of sodium lactate for cold process soaps is 1 teaspoon per pound of oils. Sodium lactate is also used in hot process soaps toward the end of the cook to create a more fluid soap that easier to get into the soap mold.
When using sodium lactate, add it to your cooled lye water.
Amazing as always!
Loaves unmold better with sodium lactate than without. This is the only sodium lactate I buy and use.
I like the product, very good price
This is the best sodium lactate I’ve used! My soap pops out like a charm!
Always gets the job done for sure. Never any issues. great quality
This Sodium Lactate Is Amazing. It Hardened My M&P Soap So Quickly, It Wasn’t Even In The Mold 5 Mins❗️A Little Goes A Long Way.
I love this product, best one I have used this fare. Works great
I love ordering from Nurture! There are so many shops out there, but I really like the quality of their products….
The best thing you can have to make your soap easy to remove from silicone molds.
Noticed that my soap unmolds easily.
