7.5 lb Premium Mold Lid

I was a little confused at first but now I love these! You can see what is going on with the soap batter and if it gets to hot just slide it down a little so the heat can escape.No other covering needed.Wish I had ordered these a long time ago!

Works perfect on my BASIC 5 lb mold & liner! I just drilled tiny sink holes in the corners of the wood mold and the lid, then slide little nails in to keep it in place. Works PERFECT! Mind you, I would have happily paid the extra for the Premium Mold, but I got impatient waiting for it to be in stock. I LOVE the slide in lids and removable wood walls on my 9lb double premium and can testify to the value of the price, nothing beats the premium details but I found this to be the next best thing.

I bought this to use with my 5 pound basic mold and it fits perfectly! I did a 5 minute mod to keep it secure and it is excellent!
They are perfectly clear after removing the protective covering paper, and a quick swipe of steel wool over the edges easily removed any tiny rough spots.
Not as perfect as the premium with the slider cover, but it has been out of stock every time I check so this is the next best thing ;)

I ordered 3 and got them today.I love everything I have ordered so far but these are not like the description and photo shows.They are low quality rough cut plastic and rough and kind of ragged around the edges. They will work but should have only ordered one.

I have been covering my molds with towels but this lid makes it simple and seems to make gel phase so much easier

The proper tools make any job easier, and soapmaking tools are no exception. This cover makes it easy to insulate the 7.5 lb mold and also make sure the loaf isn't overheating without cumbersome uncovering. Can keep ash at bay too. Simple item, big help.
