Nurture Soap Making Oil Blend
This blend contains the following FOOD GRADE pre-mixed oils:
- Olive Oil - 40%
- Coconut Oil - 25%
- Organic & Sustainable RSPO Palm Oil - 25%
- Sweet Almond Oil - 5%
- Castor Oil - 5%
The oils used to make this blend are the highest-quality oils we can find and are the best of the best! We recommend using this blend within one year of purchase.
If you are frustrated with too fast of trace, oils behaving badly, or the time-consuming task of having to weigh and measure every oil that goes into a soap recipe, this blend is perfect for you!
3.9 and 8 pound sizes come in a plastic F-Style jug. Our 35 pound size comes in an easy to use jerrycan type jug with a large mouth opening and vent hole.
This blend stays quite fluid at room temperature, so if you are storing your oils at room temp you can shake the jug to sufficiently mix the oils. To warm cold oils, place the jug in a warm water bath. We have found that filling the sink with warm water and placing the jug in the sink is sufficient to warm colder oils.
This soap feels great in the shower. It is lower cleansing, high conditioning, with a thick creamy lather and lots of big bubbles!
I make hot process soap with this oil blend and it always comes out perfect.
Makes for a moisturizing bar, very easy to use and pour. Just make sure to shake before using!
Soap making perfection!
The oil blend was easy to work with. Thank you!

I just love this oil blend. It’s never disappoints and my customers love the quality of soap it creates!!
I really love this blend my soaps always come out great and always receive it well packaged and I get a good amount for a fair price. Will purchase again
So easy. I add my butters and my two other oils to this mix and I’m set. If only it had all my oils for my recipe lol still makes my life so much easier. My soap turns out perfect every time
It’s my second time ordering this oil blend. I like the fact that they use high quality oil such as pure olive rather than pomace olive oil. It’s a great blend if you want to work on intricate design. Some reviews mentioned that it takes a long time to harden and unmold. My suggestion is to put the soap batch in the fridge for 2-3 hours and you can unmold the soap with ease.
PLEASE DON’T EVER STOP OFFERING THIS BLEND! Not only does this blend made my life easier as a working mom & soap maker, but it’s actually amazing. I get a perfect bar of soap every time with a creamy, bubbly lather. My customers & I are obsessed.
I absolutely love this pre-mixed soap blend. It takes out all the measuring and is easy to use!
I am new to cp soap, migrating from melt and pour, and I made my first product with this blend, and I absolutely love it!!! It was so easy to work with.
I am soooo happy with this blend. At the moment I still am figuring out this cold process soapmaking. I tried soapmaking using this blend and I’ve never felt more happier and accomplished :)
Great base for starter or advanced users. Easy to use. Fluid for results at recommended usage rates with most FO. A must have!!
Nurture Soap you’ve made my soapy life easier. I love soap making but for me measuring all the ingredients is not always fun, especially the different oils in any given recipe. With this oil blend I just put the jug in hot water for a few minutes, shake and measure. Is that simple!
This amazing blend hasn't failed me yet. It was already so similar to the recipe I used that transitioning was easy--and now I don't have five separate bottles of base oils taking up space.
Makes an amazing soap with lots of lather that isn't drying. Love the blend, love the convenience, love the price.
i loved it very much and would buy it again.. i wish it was more affordable.
i live in a cold climate - so the mix is fairly solid, especially in winter. So, (i have a big canner - Weck-style) i put the whole 35 pound container into the Weck, gently heat it until it can be upturned and mixed well, and then decant into weighed 1 gallon plastic jugs and tuck them somewhere dark and cool. when i'm ready to make a batch (usually between 100 and 104) i just gently heat that jug, pour it into my soap pail and i'm ready to go. i usually do 100 ounces of the supermix and (via soapcalc) add 4 ounces of other things like shea or cocoa butter or mango butter. nice soap! The photo is all supermix (just cut, not cleaned up) with a swirl of Enchantment and Savage Garden (and Winter white) in our Goats' Milk soap.
I absolutely love this oil blend! It's made soap making quick and easy. Measure the amount you need and off you go! The end result is a well balanced soap that had a lovely lather. Will definitely be using this again in the future.
This was the first time ordering this oil blend. It makes soaping so quick and easy when I was in a hurry today. All the oils are already pre measured and combined. Also I was showing a first time soap maker how to make soap today and this came in so handy when things can become overwhelming!
I love this blend. I have used blends by other companies in the past & was never happy with them. I just happened to look at the listing for this oil blend and noticed that it's basically what I use as my base recipe anyway so I decided to give it a try & I absolutely love it. I went straight for the biggest container to see if it would be ridiculous to deal with & it really wasn't. The oil did stay pretty liquidy & the container actually fit in my sink-so if I ever do need to melt them a bit, I can :) I've made numerous batches with this blend & plan on making many, many more. I could master batch my oils myself, but why, when Nurture Soap has done a great job doing it for me :)
This soap blend makes lovely, creamy soap. It’s my absolute favorite!
Instead of weighing out each individual oil, just give this a good shake if the oils are warm and pour. I love it!
This is just a perfect blend of oils you can ask for, I created so many great soaps with it.
I’ve never tried an oil blend before. I just started making Cold Process Soaps at the beginning of last year. I love this oil blend so much I had to order more. Thank you! I made Love Spell Soap with it and the Mica’s from here. Love it and yes I’m recommending to everyone. Thank you!!!!!
I have made soap for 20+ years and sold it locally and online. I now just make soap for myself and family. Using this product is more economical and creates less waste than buying 5 separate oils. I use 900g of oil which gives me almost a perfect 4 batch yield from the 8 pound container. I saw the product and the ingredients and percentages were inline with what I used so I felt OK with giving it a try. It is not loaded up with cheap oil to increase profits. I warm it to 106F to get the oil mixture clear and just slightly warm my lye water a little over room temperature. I used the 38% water percentage and this gives you plenty of time to work without the soap saponifying too fast. With shipping costs being so high and shelf life taken into consideration I think this is a great alternative to mixing your own oils. It is faster, less messy, quicker and you don't run out of oils at different times. I get 36 very good size bars plus 4 bars that are a little over half thickness which I will use in the kitchen. Less storage room and no waste just one bottle to recycle. The soap looks fine and mine is now curing. The 38% water content will require a good cute so be patient. I am happy to have found the product.
How much lye do you use with this formula?
It depends on how much of the oil blend you use! We have premade recipes on the product page for you or if you want to plug the oils in to a lye calculator yourself you can use the percentage of each oil in the blend which are listed in the description! :)
