About this mold
Each of the three cavities is sealed by its own lid, so the loaves gel independently and one can be opened without disturbing the others.
The lids are clear, which means the gel phase can be checked without lifting one and letting the heat out, and the seal they make against the air is the main thing that holds soda ash down. When the soap has set, the sides of the box come off and the liners are lifted away rather than the loaves pushed out.
