7.5 lb Basic Soap Mold

I purchased three 7.5 lb molds. While they are well made, I found the silicone mold very difficult to remove from the wooden frame, even with the holes at the bottom. I tried pushing the first one out using a round piece of wood, but it deformed the soap. I haven’t removed the other yet because it’s quite hard to do.

This is a well made soap mold. When you pick it up, you can fell the quality. The holes in the bottom made it so much easier to remove.Well worth the money. Fast shipping, well made, easy to use and a must have!

At first I wasn't sure if I should get this loaf mold or the premium with removable sides because I have arthritis and sometimes unmolding my soap can be challenging, but the holes on the bottom of the wood mold are perfect to aid in popping out the silicone liner. It makes a big chonky 3x3 bar if you fill it to the top, which is perfect! Oh and the price is pretty GREAT! I'm definitely on a budget so I appreciate the affordability of Nurture Soap molds!

The construction is amazing! I absolutely love this mold. It was my starter molds. Solid piece of equipment. I also have the one with the plexiglass too, a bit more expensive. If you are on a tight tight budget get this one, it won’t let you down. If you can wait it out a little bit longer, get the other! You will appreciate the upgrade :-) They are both great, functional, and strong!

Make sure to use sodium lactate to harden your soaps for easy removal

I purchased 2 of the 7.5 lb molds. These molds are superior in quality. The wood mold is thick, sturdy and well constructed The mold has a little bit of weight to it that lets you know it’s solid. The silicone liner is thick, holds its shape and cleans so well. Every single batch is perfect - no bowing, loaf is perfectly square, which is important for consistent looking bars. This mold produces a very big bar. I adjusted my batch amount to produce the size bar that I desire. You will not be disappointed with this mold. It’s worth it!

I use this large size mold for featured soaps. It has been a good purchase for me. The larger bars are great for my gift sets

These are my favorite soap molds! They are easy to use and make very good sized bars. I have a total of 11 of these molds since I've increased production. I will be buying even more soon!! Shipping is quick too.

The container is easy to push out of the wood but very hard to get soap out of the stiff silicone.

Measure your multi bar cutter (and your loaf) before you try these together! This makes super tall, giant bars. You'll want to NOT fill the mold to the top in order to get a palm-sized bar. But for hi-tops, man this is nice. I bought the liner and made a box myself. I recommend buying the box here (NS) IF you can afford it.

What I love about this mold, besides its perfect size, is that the wood has holes in the bottom that help to push out the silicone mold and that the silicone is nice and sturdy and does not collapse inwards, as thinner silicone molds do. I will buy more of these when they're back in stock!

This is my second mold. I just loved the 1st one I just had to get another one!!! Its strong and sturdy, the liner is heavy duty too. Love it love it love it!!!

I’m a new soap maker. I was using the smallest mold known to man. I couldn’t figure out how to get a larger bar of soap with the cutter I had. I was watching YouTube videos and saw this mold. I literally harassed that person until they told me where they got it from. I purchased 2 and was hooked. The quality is superb. The wood is very thick and the liner is more durable than those little flimsy Amazon ones.

I just got to use this beefy mold and I love it! It does make a BIG bar of soap, if you are used to the generic amazon 42oz molds. But the bars are fun, lots of room to be creative. I usually get a 120-130gram bar of frosted top soap, with this bigger mold I got a 220gram bar and I didn’t quite go to the top of the silicone with a 2000g oil recipe. I’m going to do a 2300g oil recipe today and it should fill the mold better. The silicone is quite thick so you can’t peel it back and off the soap. You have to push the soap out. With how decorative my soap was I had to wrestle a bit to free it from the mold, but it worked out just fine. I’m going to order more!
