Color Testing Notes

Shamrock Green Mica Glitter is such a stunning color, filled with tiny golden flecks that make it shimmer beautifully. In cold process soap, some of that sparkle gets a bit lost, but in clear melt and pour, it absolutely shines. It’s a bright, cheerful green with a golden glow.

Use Rate

CP Soap: 3 teaspoons per pound of oils.
MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.

Use Notes

Mica-based glitters are the only glitter we have found that can add sparkle to cold process soaps! They need to be used at about 3 teaspoons per pound of oils to achieve a sparkle effect. They can also be used with bath bombs to add fine glittery effect to the water.

⚠️ Warning: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

Shamrock Glitter for my lipgloss

This glitter has caught the attention of many of my coworkers because I mixed a color changing agent with it. To see a beautiful green in the tube and a pink/red on your lips was a game changer. The green gives the gloss a pop and it’s so vibrant. Another guilt free and satisfied customer.

We're so glad you're enjoying it but we do feel the need to mention this particular glitter is not approved for use on lips! In general most green and blue colorants are not.

Dazzling Sparks of Colors

This beautiful-sparkly green is out of this world. So vibrant, colorful, love at first sight ! I added the mica powder in a tea strainer and gently powdered it on top of my Christmas soap and voila! A turn your head magnificent presentation. Very happy with my order. Will order again.
