Wanderlust Pink Mica
Embark on a creative adventure with Wanderlust Mica, a vibrant pink with enchanting red-peach undertones. This lively hue captures the essence of wanderlust - a deep, irresistible urge to explore - and infuses your projects with playful energy and inspiration.
Color Testing Notes
Wanderlust is such a fascinating mica. It starts as a pink with a strong orange base, but in cold process soap, it transforms into a stunning pinky-bronze shade. It’s like pink infused with a touch of copper - warm, radiant, and completely captivating. It’s one of those colors that makes every batch feel just a little more special.

A lovely red color. The color on the cut edges of the soap was a pinker red than what was exposed to the air which was slightly orange. The soap went through gel phase and you can see the top two bars which were not planed and are slightly orange while the bottom one was planed and is more pinky red. Great micas from NS!
So pretty and multi-faceted. Can go in just about anything (soaps, bath bombs, scrubs).
This is a very pretty reddish color. Maybe it has a tiny bit of orange in it but much more red. Just not a true red. I love this color!
As promised in my previous review, an update for performance in CP: THIS MICA IS UHHH-MAZING!!! I know it's not unheard of for colors in this shade range to fade somewhat in CP application, but I've not found that to be the case at all! This mica is gorgeously vibrant & true, and if Nurture ever discontinued it, I'd buy ALL OF IT, then sit on top of said pile of Wanderlust mica, shotgun in hand (unloaded of course... This is purely for scare-tactic purposes only!), yelling at unsuspecting neighborhood kids to stay off my lawn and away from my Wanderlust mica!😂 I would describe this color as hot pink meets coral red, and it's FABULOUS in both MP embeds & CP soap! As with any color that might have a propensity for fading a little in CP, I upped my usage rate a smidge (1.5tsp/PPO) and made sure to keep my temps low, but I don't think I had anything to worry about- the color in my soap is just as pigmented & true as it is in the jar... And it's remained that way! GORGEOUS GORGEOUS color, and one I will ALWAYS come back to replenish!
Mind blown... This color is EXCEPTIONAL!! I normally have NO PROBLEMS describing things, but this color is indescribable in the most fascinating of ways! Admittedly, I was hesitant to purchase this shade initially because I wondered if it was similar to Coral Reef mica (a color I'm already completely obsessed with!). I'm THRILLED my curiosity finally got the best of me! Not only is Wanderlust completely unique from Coral Reef mica, it's completely unique from anything I've seen... EVER!! Is it pink? Red? Orange? Peach? Coral? ...YES TO ALL OF THOSE!! It's a peachy-pink, orange-ish, coral-red masterpiece, and looks positively enchanting in MP flower embeds I made! This color is vividly vibrant & deeply pigmented, and I'll be using it in a batch of CP with NS's Fairy Garden FO next! I'll definitely come back & update with how gorgeous it looks in CP (I have no doubts!), but I'm already in love! I can't believe there hasn't been any reviews for this mica yet... Others must be keeping this a secret, all for themselves!😂 I'm blowing the lid off this secret tho... This color is OUTSTANDING and you've so gotta try it- you WON'T be disappointed! The other embeds made in this picture were made with Nurture's High Society mica (dragonflies), and the devastatingly discontinued Belize Blue mica (7/8" balls), which I hoard & use very sparingly. Pulling it out to pair it with Wanderlust mica was so worth it though!😂
