Color Testing Notes

Yellow Vibrance is a soft, cheerful sunny yellow that performs beautifully in cold process soap. I recommend using about 2 teaspoons per pound of oils and letting your soap gel for the best results. I haven’t experienced the strange orange phase with this mica, but if it does happen, don’t worry - it’s temporary! Just let the soap finish saponifying, and it will return to a lovely, bright yellow as it cures.

Use Rate

CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.

Use Notes

As with many yellow micas, this color may change to orange and back to yellow after 24 hours in cold process soaps.

Yellow vibrance mica

It is a pretty color. It’s not as bright as I thought it would be. I like all the vibrance collection. They’re beautiful colors and fun to work with in cp soap.

A gentle yellow when used sparingly

I was looking for a golden yellow like inside a flower and Yellow Vibrance seemed a good choice. Very pleased with the color but would use more mica next time to make it a brighter yellow. Definitely a good yellow to keep on hand.

My Go To Yellow!!

Love this yellow. Its simply just a great yellow. Its bright and super saturated. hold up well against other colors in CP soap

Yellow.

This one has a mustard tone to it, not much but is not as yellow sunshine more like a muted one. Beautiful non the less. I recommend not to CPOP it to keep it vibrant.

Nice yellow

I used it in a pineapple soap (fragrance discolored to tan) but it would have otherwise been a nice softer yellow. When I have wanted to brighten it in a different soap, I added some neon yellow

A little discoloration but good

It slightly darkens in cp soap but I don’t know of any other yellow that barely changes. Most seem to have bad reputations. I like this one. it’s tolerable.

Perfect yellow

Is used this is my sweet lemon CP and it didn't accelerate, discoloration, or bleed. I love how it ended up looking <3

I made green with it.

I thought it would be easy to make green on my own. It turns out that my house has poor lighting because the green I made looked way better pouring than curing. It’s my fault and I’m glad I tried but I’ll buy green next time. I’m a noob.

Bright, bold yellow

This color is what I would consider a true bright yellow. I love how it looks in my soap, and I find myself looking for it whenever I need a yellow for my soaps. It blends well with other colors and looks bright and happy in cold process soap. Makes a nice pastel when mixed with titanium dioxide

Great yellow

I have been doing a lot of yellow soap for spring and this has worked well! Add a little TD and it creates a more pastel look. I haven’t had any morphing of color in CP with forced gel! Picture shows 1 tsp in 4 pounds of oil
