INCI: Mica, titanium dioxide, chromium oxide green
Micron Size: 10-60 μm

FDA Approved Use

  • Eyes: Yes
  • Lips: No
  • Bath Bombs: No
  • General Body Use: Yes

Use Notes

As with most green micas, this color may turn a darker brown or murky gray during saponification. Don't worry! If this happens, please wait up to 48 hours for the original green color to return in cold and hot process soaps.

Use Rate

  • CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.

⚠️ Warning: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

This color on my Glycerin soaps looks so good.

This color on my Glycerin soaps looks so beautiful. They make my soaps just pop. All 8 of the colors I bought look good on my soaps. I will definitely buy more mica colors from here. I'm glad I found these micas. I am enjoying making soaps. It's therapeutic.

Nice bright green

This is one of my favorite green micas, as it is very vibrant. Although it does morph in CP soap initially, it always turns back to a lovely green within 24 hours.
