Soap Colorants

Micas, pigments, clays, and mica glitters rated for cold process soap on their product pages. That matters because lye changes things: some dyes morph, some neons soften, and some micas that look perfect in melt and pour fade at high pH. Everything here has been photographed in a real cold process batch, and micas are used at about 1 to 2 teaspoons per pound of oils. Dyes and lakes generally do not make the cut; they belong in bath bombs and melt and pour, and biodegradable glitter is a topper rather than a batter colorant.
