Cantaloupe is a warm, sunny coral that dances between soft orange and playful pink, named for the fruit it channels so well.

In cold process soap, the shade you land on depends on your usage rate and whether the batch gels: about two teaspoons per pound of oils gives a vibrant tone, while a lighter hand around one and a half teaspoons in a gelled batch leans more toward a delicate pink. Either way, it holds its color well through the cure.

Either way, it's ripe for the picking.
