Color Testing Notes
Black Pearl is such a beautiful mica with subtle silver tones throughout. In cold process soap, it transforms into a soft yet rich shade that’s easy to adjust. Use a smaller amount for a gentle gray cast, or add more for a deeper black. It’s a versatile color and a perfect staple to keep in your collection.

Black Pearl Mica is one of my favorite micas to work with in my soaping. It is true to its color and does not stain the skin with the finished product. An "always" product I order.
This is a great black color in cp soap. It held up really well. I did notice the silver glitter in it slightly. It’s exactly as described in the notes!
perfect
Good quality
This didn’t get as dark as I thought but is still a nice color. Probably will try using more next time. I’ve never been disappointed in any of their micas.
This fades to gray in a white base but it has many uses!
I tend to use black oxide for my CPS but I love to paint with this black mica on my bath bombs!
It is a good black color that you can use to mix with other colors!
Nice, shimmery black, but not too black.

I got this mica to replace a black one I bought somewhere else. I use my micas in resin and needed a black that worked well with it. This hits the spot! It's a very pretty, pearlescent black. I'm happy that I decided to buy the jar and not the sample size.
I purchased Black Pearl and Neutral Grey Mica. Both were what I was hoping for in the end result. I would definitely purchase again. I have only bee making soap for about 6 months. I tried four different batches. One was a four row swirl, a three row swirl, an in-the-pot, and a drop. Not very visually pleasing but I am happy with the results.
This one is not as dark as nocturnal but is a lovely black, mixed with a tiny bit of black oxide is a very black soap. The one in the picture is CPOP soap.
I love this mica in CP soap. I use it for one of my signature soaps!
I have been making landscape soaps lately and when I need a 'Night Sky', a touch of this mica into blue or black really does make a difference - it gives a beautiful shimmer.
Really pretty black, shiny mica that looks great in my melt and pour soap!
I love the way it looks like it has little sparkles in it and it is such a deep pretty color.
I just made a layered soap using Black Pearl and I loved it. Fallowed the ratios for making CP soap and it turned out beautiful. I’ll have to see if there’s going to be any changes once I cut the loaf.
This color turns out great in cp soap, even if you use less. This is a new color for me, so I was testing. It came out a nice steely grayish black. This is approximately 1 tsp per pound of oil.
Gorgeous!! I got this for bathbomb work, but have utilized it on several occasions... Gorgeous!
Got ahold of some Lychee & Magnolia Boba Tea- Fantastically different scent... needed a deeper blue, the blk prl made a huge difference in my soap "berries"...
I use this in soaps and it’s beautiful!! My favorite black. It’s amazing in cp soap and mp soap embeds! And it’s THE best for painting details on bath bombs!
It covers great in black! It’s even got a bit of shimmer to it! I love painting with this one!
I used this for a custom wedding m&p soap order. The color is fantastic and I’m clear m&p really shines and shimmers with a deep black color. I can’t wait to try it in my CP soap next.
It gave a very nice black color to my CP so. Love this color will purchase again.
Great shimmer for a little pop, but not too dark. Works with so many color palettes
I accidentally used half the recommended amout. (I grabbed a smaller measuring spoon on accident.) Anyways, I am still very happy with the result. It made a pretty silvery color for one of my Halloween inspired scents.
