I love tgis mold. It makes perfect sized bars for the unit of soldiers i send them to!i did cut them into sections to make it easier to remove but it is my favorite mp mold
Much bigger than I expected which is perfect because I thought they would be too small. About the size of a store bought bar
They made the perfect size for the soaps I really enjoy my finished product and the shape of the soap
Easy to release silicone molds. Great for soap making!

I got this oval mold a few months ago but I never used it because I was taking a break but now I have and I just love it. I love the shape of it. Can't wait to unmold my soaps. It's very sturdy.

Easy to release silicone molds. Great for soap making!
I’ve used a homemade loaf mold for years and never intended to upgrade … but … had some ideas to try a few things and saw this mold and thought PERFECT! It’s good size, affordable and so glad I did! Already got compliments on the bar size & shape!
Good mold for my lotion bars , great quality
Make sure you cover the soap with a board or something so that air does not penetrate otherwise you will get soda ash. I like the size of each bar.
I used it recently and it is a great mold as the bars are such a perfect size for my hands.
This mold is well built. It is not thin and cheap like some other molds I have purchased. Definitely will buy from you again.
It's nice and sturdy so i dont have to worrying about bowling on top. I will definitely will buy another one or 3 more
Love the size and shape of these bars! Perfect for those with larger hands to handle. My first batch of soap didn't turn out perfect, so I blame that on the difficulty unmolding. My new supplies are coming today, so we'll see! I have not yet cut the mold as others suggest, just because I can't put it back together once I do, but again, maybe time will convince which way is better. lol
I am in love with this mold. I am using this mold for my morning facial bars. I really love how easily the soap comes out the mold and the mold capacity is great. I initially bought one mold and ended up buying 3 more. I can't get enough of it. The mold filled can be heavy and a little awkward to move. Some have even suggested cutting it in 1/2 to help with the stability. I have not cut mine and I am able to manage just fine. The only other thing is the mold arrives clear/white. It's not blue.
Loving the size of the bars. They fit really well in your hand and have a great weight (4.5 oz.) to them. I definitely will be purchasing more for my face soap line. I did not cut my mold in 1/2 but I have been able to unmold the soap with little effort and I didn't have to adjust my soap recipe.
Love the quality and how sturdy this mold is. However, I am not sure if I am in love with it yet. I used this mold over a week ago to make a batch of soap that included coconut milk. Eight days later I still can't get a clean release. I've been releasing an average of a bar per day. I did follow the suggestion to cut the mold in half even before I even pour in my batter. It did not help. Giving it a few more days before I try to release the second half of the mold. It seems that the sides do okay, it's the very bottom that remains attached.
I'm sorry you're having trouble! I'm going to private message you to see if I can help!
I’ve had this mold a short time and have already used it twice. I’m really satisfied with the way the bars easily release from the mold. I find it to to much sturdier than some of my silicone molds. I would purchase again.
I've used this mold twice now and love it. I followed a suggestion from other reviewers and cut the mold in two for easier handling. It is an extremely sturdy mold. I would recommend it!
This mold is made of a sturdy silicone that is actually translucent/white, not blue as pictured, and produces very nice, clean bars. Cavities hold about 4.5oz of soap comfortably before starting to get overfull. The mold is very large and can be a bit unwieldy, so I actually cut it in half (for two 6-bar molds) to make them a bit maneuverable. Cutting into the mold hasn't had any negative effects on its structure or form. As a bonus, it's easy to clean!
I was honestly surprised by how incredibly well-made this mold is! I've started using it any time I want to test out a recipe, and the shape is so consistently clean that I have yet to even begin to second guess my decision to purchase! I plan to buy multiple of these in the future to speed up my batch making!
It seems very sturdy. When buying it I was concerned, I had a different brand silicone mold in blue that I no longe like. However I was surprised that this one is not blue but it looks like the same off white color as my 10” loaf mold, it feels very sturdy.
Nice mold. Made well. I find it hard to get the soap out, bc the walls of the mold so thick. The mold is clear in color, not blue.
Excellent quality mold, sturdy as advertised and should last a long time. Perfect size for full size oval soap.
Makes beautiful soaps. Unmolded easier than I thought it would
Perfect size bars, came
Out easily with super smooth surfaces. Will get a lot of use out of it
I made salt bars in this mold and they were pretty much ruined getting them out of it but it’s not the molds fault. It is very heavy duty and well worth the money.
What an amazing mold!!! Love the size and the quality of this mold. Perfect for facial bars and salt bars!!! No bowing or uneven bottoms!!
The first oval mold that i bought was from brambleberry. It was strong and sturdy, but cod only hold six bars. I took a chance on tjiz mold and im.glad i did. The mold is just as durable as the pne from brambleberry, but it's double the size at less than double the price. So a great value, IMO
I have cut the mold in 2. I find it easier to manipulate 6 at the time. I love my bars! But what i like most is your magnificent micas ! The colours are my favorite !!!
Easy release, very sturdy.
I've had this mold for about a month and have been using it more than my loaf molds. Each cavity hold roughly 5 ounces of wet soap and 4 of cured bars. Total soap weight before cure for the entire 12 ovals is roughly 4 pounds. The mold is VERY sturdy. I love it because my female customers like a nice oval shaped soap in their hands over a big square piece of soap. Also, when I make milk based soaps it fits perfect length wise in my freezer to stop gel phase. Just remember, that if you're not using Sodium Lactate or table salt in your water to harden your bars, leave the soap in this mold for a few more days. I've even popped it in the freezer to get them out more easily without denting the edges. I'm SO HAPPY that I purchased this mold! Thank you Nurture Soap!!
I am relatively new to soap making. What is the total amount of soap this mold holds? Do I have to calculate cubic inches or is it just 12 x 4.9 oz?
The information we have under mold specifications (4.9 oz of oil in each cavity) is just the oil weight for CP soap. If you're trying to determine total batch weight then you would need to calculate the total oil weight as you mentioned (12 x 4.9= 58.8) and then using a recipe that calls for 58.8 oz of oils you can see your total batch weight. The total batch weight will vary depending on your recipe! :)
