Product Details
The liner in this set is thinner than our other silicone liners, and on its own it will bow. That is why it is sold here with its wood box: set the liner inside the box before you pour, and if the rim starts to lean, clip it to the box.
The small size is deliberate. A batch this size uses less of every ingredient than a full loaf, so a recipe that does not turn out costs less to learn from. That is why we point first-time soap makers to this set.
Like every Basic mold it has no lid and unmolds through the holes in the bottom of the box. Cover it with cling wrap after pouring if you want it to gel or want to limit soda ash.
