4 lb Slab Liner

I love this liner. I was disappointed that the full mold (wood and all) was sold out in the shop, but I’ve ordered 1/2” birch plywood and will make one myself. Meanwhile I did surgery on a cardboard box and am happy with the support it gives. I’ve covered the box with packing tape so it will probably hold up forever, but I’m afraid it will eventually be ruined when stored with all my stuff.

This slab liner is so thick! Well worth the price. This will surely last a very long time. Extremely pleased.

Perfect size for small batches

I haven't used this mold yet, but I can tell it is going to be a good size to start increasing my soap making. I've been using a 2lb mold and I'm ready to make 4lbs in this slab mold. It seems stiff enough that it doesn't need the wood frame but I probably won't fill it to the very top or if I do I'll support the sides.

I am just starting up my soapmaking business so I wanted to get a few different sized molds. I am so happy that I went with this one. Very nicely made and the soap slab just slides out like butter.

I have a much bigger slab mold, but this little guy is perfect for some limited edition soap. I am currently working on a box for him, since a box is needed for this type of mold.

I love the quality of this mold. It unmolds beautifully every single time! My 4 stars instead of 5 is because I can't seem to find the perfect bar dimension cut sizes for this mold. It is 2" deep so dividing the mold horizontally is no problem. But I like my bars to be about 1" thick, 2.50 wide, and 3.75 to 4" long. just can't seem to get a good cut size (bath size) without having a few odd bar sizes remaining. I would be open to suggestions, because it is a great mold. (I made a wooden box to support the sides)

Just the right size for smaller batches of cp soap. The sides of the mold are thick and don't collapse......making pouring easy.

Just the size I wanted to experiment with smaller batches. Sturdy and no issues with in molding.

I love how thick and sturdy this liner is. No tape needed to hold the walls up, and -- best of all -- I don't have to deal with freezer paper anymore.

I wanted to like this mold. It's sturdy and the soap un-molds beautifully. However, I use the mold to test 1-inch thick designs, and dimensions of the mold are such that I would either have to slice it into 2x3 inch bars, or 3x3 inch bars. It would be great if the mold allowed you to make 2.5x3.5 inch bars without a bunch of waste. This would better conform to the loaf molds sold by NS, which seem mostly designed to yield 2.5x3.5 inch bars.

Perfect if you're just starting with a slab mold you won't be disappointed!!!

I know you can wrap your molds with freezer paper, but having this silicone insert makes it much much easier!
Price is right and the mold makes great soap!

Easy to work with. Stable enough that I didn't need a wood box. Just propped stabilizers on each end and it held form.

I've recently branched out to making more decorative soaps and this well constructed mold made a beautiful column pour slab. The flexible liner made it very easy to unmold, and I am beyond pleased with my purchase. I will order from this company again!
