Each ball has one flat face, and that face is the one it sits on. Set the finished pieces onto a bar of soap and the flat side is not visible in the result.
Nine cavities, each filled on its own rather than poured as one batch. This is a silicone mold and not a liner, so no wood box comes with it. Wash it in warm soapy water and keep abrasive scrubbers off it.
