Color Testing Notes

Maya Gold Mica is the darkest and truest natural mica-based gold we offer. It has a rich, classic gold tone with less yellow than other gold micas, giving it a more refined look. I really love the color it creates in cold process soap - it stands out beautifully and is much more noticeable than most other golds.

Micron Size: 10-60 μm

  • Bath Bombs: Yes
  • General Body Use: Yes

Use Rate

  • CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.
