Use Rate

CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.

LOVE this purple!

I have so many clients that love purple, and I'm always on the look out for a deep and rich purple color. When I saw this on the website, I was sincerely hopeful it had the almost rainbow sheen it showed. I was wrong, it was even more colorful in person! I am really excited to use this, especially for my customers who love all things Prince. I used it in this decorative element on my Lavender series shown.

Perfect warm Violet

In my CP soap bar I loved how Northern Lights contrasted with the Jam Session mica, Its so close to being the same color but with a red undertone instead of a blue undertone! How gorgeous!

So bright!

I used this mica in goat milk soap which usually dilutes most colorants but this purple still pops!

Beautiful color

I’m new to soaping so haven’t perfected my bars yet but this color was so beautiful I had to include the picture anyway! Worked wonderfully in my lavender and charcoal bars.

Gorgeous Purple

I love purple in really any shade, so I was bound to love this, but it worked beautifully in my CP soap cupcakes. I had never worked with soap frosting before and I'm glad I tried it with this color!

Absolutely Gorgeous!

Okay, what really can you say about ALL Nurture Micas except that they are Exceptional, High Quality, and take your Soap to another Level!! I only use Nurture Micas and have for years...but I am truly in love with Northern Lights Mica (which is the 3rd layer down from the top and piped on top of this soap). It is so incredibly beautiful and really pops on all of my soaps. I absolutely love this color!!

Gorgeous!

This is a beautiful shade of purple that just as the previous reviewer mentioned, is a perfect medium hue! Undertones of reddish-fushia make this truly unique & eye-catching in CP! I paired it with NS's amazing "Hollywood Pink", "Iris Purple" and "New Leaf" micas, and it turned out better than I could've imagined! So vibrant and pigmented, I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! In the same batch, I mixed this mica with "Hollywood Pink" to create a beautiful blackberry shade for my MP embeds on top, and "New Leaf" mica also proved to be just as stunning in MP embeds as it is in the soap too! I absolutely LOVE Nurture's micas! The quality is simply outstanding!

Deep purple

I used this purple mica to make flower enbeds out of Melt & P. I was able to use just a little to get a light and deep purple all with one product. I love the various shades of deep purple of my little flowers. I'm super happy with the results and will need to order a larger bag.
