This was my first time working with Lilac Blossoms, and while it did accelerate, it stayed workable enough for a clean pour. The payoff is worth it — the scent retention is holding strong and smells like fresh lilac blooms. A great choice if you plan ahead for a quicker trace. I did soap at a lower temp not being sure if would accelerate
Strong scent retention over time and perfectly behaved in CP soap. This is the lilac you have been looking for. I don't even need to use the max ifra amount to get a strong scent that sticks around in every type of product I put it in. One of my consistently best selling spring scents.
I am already planning my spring line and repurchasing this scent as it was a best seller this year. Behaves perfect in CP soap and scent lasts.
I have been searching high and low for a fragrance oil that actually smells like lilacs! I had been through a few of the big companies and the fragrance just wasn’t correct. I tried nurture lilac fragrance and omg yes exactly what I have been searching for! Thank you nurture for always having the best products!

This fragrance oil is very strong and sits very well in the soap!!! Lasts long! Love, love, love!
Smells nice out of the bottle but smells even better in my melt and pour soaps. Smells like a lilac bush! Wonderful Springtime scent and great for Mother's Day Soaps.
Slight acceleration as noted, but completely workable. Good scent retention so far on 3% usage rate, as its really quite strong.
This really does smell like lilacs both OOB and in cp process. I was shocked. No synthetic or fake smells.
This is a wonderful Lilac Scent. Pretty similar to the real lilacs. Everyone loves it.
The village I live in has a lilac bush in just about every yard. Opening the front door in early spring is amazing, you're hit with the wonderful smell of lilacs in bloom. I get that same feeling when smelling this bottle & I still get it weeks after unmolding my soap. A definite new favorite. I've made several batches with it so far, I can't seem to get enough & neither can my customers.
This smells exactly like the lilacs I remember from living in the Midwest! I made this lovely little soap and can’t wait to make more!
"Slight acceleration" was exactly the right wording on this label. It thickened up quickly, but not so fast that I couldn't keep up. I even had time to do a hanger swirl.
Smells like a bouquet of the freshest most fragrant flowers. Didn’t accelerate in cp for me, I absolutely love it. Perfect for my lilac soap cakes.
I was hesitant this would be so “fake” smelling but should have know better with Nurture Soap! Absolutely true lilac scent and performed very will in CP soap. It does say it can cause slight acceleration so I just made sure to stick blend less and whisk more. Paired beautifully with the Iris mica
Great scent, did accelerate for me, but maybe because I use sugar with my lye. Will order a bigger bottle
The scent is amazing. I knew it would accelerate, so I worked wicked fast. Will buy again
Lilac Blossom fragrance oil is such a wonderfully fresh, true, lilac scent. It soaped beautifully and only had slight acceleration for a floral fragrance oil. This fragrance will be a regular in my product line. Thank you Nurture Soap!
the smell is just lilac flower, so amazing, i was bit worry about slight acceleration, but i think this fragrance is perfect for design like layers or landscape, slight acceleration is really helping, i made my tiger stripes, but it look a bit like meat :), and it is my favorite bar
I love this lilac fragrance. I ordered it because my sister in law loves lilac. I am not overly into flowery scents but I do love this one. It isn't overwhelming and smells really great. I used it in bath bombs.
First off, when you open the bottle, you are blown away. I mean, I couldn't believe how yummy this scent is.
I'm very particular about scents. I don't like anything artificial. Which is why I've shied away from single florals. Most "artificial" rose scents are nothing like the roses I have in my garden. So with hesitation, but determination, I purchased Lilac Blossom. And when I opened the bottle, I thought, lordy, it smells just like lilacs! Just like the bush I had outside my house.
I made a batch of CP soap, and as God is my witness, it STILL smells like a lilac bush. I live in the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, and early summer the entire valley smells of lilacs, because it's one of the few flowers that does well here, so EVERYONE has one in their yard. It smells just like the valley in summer. Since all my soaps are pure goat milk soaps, sometimes scents can get funky when mixed with goat milk. I can't for the life of me get a coffee soap that smells good enough for me. This one? Please. I have no idea how you shoved a lilac bush into a bottle, but you definitely did!
There is not enough I can say about how great this scent is. It works perfectly in CP soap - and if you are a lilac fan (and who isn't) I can tell you that this will be one of your favorite soaps. It is a star performer.
this fragrance smells just like fresh lilacs in the bottle and in my CP soap! It is fresh and uplifting! Some florals accelerate but not this one it was great to work with and did not rice at all - gave me plenty of time to add my designs into my soap!
I dont know how Nurture got this scent into a bottle.....i am in love. I opened this bottle up and took a whiff and it took me back to when i was a child and i ran around my grandparents property smelling their lilac bushes...this fragrance oil smells exactly like a freshly bloomed lilac bush. What a beautiful, sweet, fresh and lovely true to lilac scent fragrance. You wont be disappointed. Nurture Soap amazes me with their fragrance oils.
This is the one. Stop looking, stop smelling! This is the only Lilac fragrance you will ever need. It is amazing. Out of the bottle it smells absolutely divine. So many lilac fragrances out there are just heavy perfumy fake lilac but this is lilac gold. I actually went out and compared a freshly blooming lilac blossom to this and they are almost identical. Not heavy and disappointing at all. This is THE lilac you've been looking for. Ok so OOB is one test that smells great but how does it work in soap? I made my usual recipe goat milk soap and added this fragrance and it's lovely. It smells so good. Even walking past the curing shelves it's got a lovely scent and it fills the room with beauty even after 3 months of curing. I love this fragrance so much I can't even convey with words the delight I get from this fragrance. No ricing, no acceleration, no discoloration. Just the lovely scent of blooming lilacs. So when spring is far away and those lavender blossoms are just a memory, pull out a bar of this soap and your winter blues will be washed away with the loveliness of lilacs.
I purchased this to make small melt and pour soap "bars" for my family. While we are all "staying at home" and washing our hands OFTEN, I couldn't think of a better scent to chose. We are very happy with the outcome.
