Sahara Gold Mica
Inspired by the shimmering sands of the Sahara Desert, Sahara Gold Mica is your golden ticket to brilliance! With its radiant yellow undertones and rich golden hue, this dazzling pigment will illuminate your artistic ventures with desert-inspired luxury and charm.
Color Testing Notes
I accidentally tested this one twice - one batch gelled and one didn’t - and I was surprised by how much of a difference gelling made! Both versions looked great, but the gelled soap turned out so much brighter and more vibrant. I’m really impressed by its true gold tone. If you’re looking for a straight-up, classic gold, this one’s a winner!

I love this color of Mica! I use it in my M&P Soaps and also to brush on top of them.
This mica, as with any metallic mica, deserves to be respected. That means it should be used in a clear translucent medium like clear MP or resin. Other opaque/dull media will make it a waste of a very pretty mica.
I love this color. It’s the perfect shade of gold for so many things.
I love this gold in my OMH soap! I use it as the "honey" part. I also use it as a mica sprinkle on top of some of my soaps.
I use this gold in my oat, milk and honey soap. I split batter in 3 and add TD to one, honey to another and gold mica to the 3rd jar. A simple in the pot swirl and voila!
I haven’t actually used this in soap yet but the color looks very nice out of the bag. I am excited to try it out.
This color is going to be my go to in so many ways, i love it!
This might be my new favorite shade of gold mica! It looks beautiful as mica drizzle on top of cold process soap.
This is a great gold to use alone or for blending…very pleased
Mixed this with new leaf mica for a pear soap. Very pretty!

Sahara gold is the darker gold in this bar above the charcoal layer. It turned out perfect.
I liked this gold a lot. When mixed and wet it is the color of 24k gold flake. Once dried the color lightens a lot to a lighter nice gold. Wish it stayed more vibrant, but still a great gold for my collection.
I really love using thois color in cold process soap! It is more of a beige gold and is beautiful.
I used the Sahara gold mica for my beach themed soap. I mixed it with turmeric and it gave me the most fabulous shimmery looking sand! I love everything from you guys
Used this on a cherry almond and honey milk soap. Worked out perfectly to give the honeycomb a beautiful golden shimmer!
This mica in CP gives the color of a jamoncillo, this one is one to blame that my soaps get mistaken by candies. As a topper is a beautiful gold mica.
I love how this gold doesn’t lose it’s sparkle in cold process soap! I will definitely be ordering a larger size.
I used this gold for my Hanukka themed soap. It is the brightest of all the golds that NS carries and it is really beautiful. Performed beautifully for me with no morphing.
This has turned out beautifully in my CP soap, and *glows* bright gold on the top. It was exactly what I was looking for!
We're slightly obsessed with bees in my family...and this gold made the perfect honey color when mixed with a white melt and pour soap base. I'll definitely be getting more of this!
Behaves nicely in all types of soap (hp, mp and cp). Super pretty in melt and pour clear glycerin
I purchased this Mica solely to color my Citrine bath bombs but it's been so beautiful that I've incorporated it in other ways that I had not originally planned! It paints absolutely beautifully on bath bombs and isn't splotchy at all. Very smooth and super metallic. Excited to use it again for my August release!
I used Sahara Gold as a contrast to the blues and blue/greens in this design and loved how it turned out. It played nicely with my color palette and will be thinking of ways to make it the main attraction!
I specifically bought this because I wanted to make a caramel coffee soap and wanted this to work as the caramel. It is such a beautiful golden caramel color and soaped really well.
I am in love with this mica! It added subtle yet beautiful contrast when layered between my ivory and greens! (Best seen in the vertical lines in the bar of soap on the top left)
I am already of thinking up a design where Sahara Gold will be the main attraction!
I originally used it to top a soap, and it was so bold and georgeous! But then i tried using it in a soap- it was so creamy and delicate. Added it mixed with iso alcohol to paint details....This mica is delightful to experiment with
