Sky Blue Mica's sparkly light blue and silvery tones mimic the color of a clear blue sky.

Did You know? Sunlight reaches Earth's atmosphere and is scattered in all directions by all the gases and particles in the air. Blue light is scattered more than the other colors because it travels as shorter, smaller waves. This is why we see a blue sky most of the time!

INCI: Mica, titanium dioxide, ultramarine blue
Micron Size: 10-60 μm

  • Eyes: Yes
  • Lips: No
  • Bath Bombs: No
  • General Body Use: Yes

Use Rate

  • CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.

⚠️ Warning: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

Beautiful color for sea or sky themed soap

I have been using the Sky Blue Mica for a special order soap for a store located near the beach in Seattle. A lovely color. The mica is easy to use and always comes out good.
