Turquoise Dye Powder

Use Rate

CP Soap: Not recommended.
MP & Liquid Soaps: 1 to 3 drops of dissolved dye per pound of soap base.
Bath Bombs: 1/16-1/4 teaspoon dye to baking soda.

CP Soap:

Dyes are not recommended for CP soap. They tend to morph, migrate into other colors, and bleed.

MP & Liquid Soaps:

Dilute a very small amount of dye with a bit of water then add to your soap. It's best to use a pipette and add your dye in drops until you reach your desired color.

Bath Bombs:

Dyes are best when bloomed before adding to your bath bomb recipe. Blooming means to dissolve a bit of dye in water first, then add to the baking soda that goes in your bath bomb mix.

Beginner recipes were created in Soapcalc using full water. Soaping with full water is ideal for those just learning to make soap. It will make your soap fluid longer and give plenty of time for the delicate swirls we all love!

These recipes have a 33% water discount. This will make it easier to unmold your soap more quickly but will speed up the trace of the soap.

Good color, but not turquoise

Not sure if the formulation changed, but this is more of a mint green or wintergreen than a turquoise. Not as blue as it should be.

Amazing!

I used this dye in my body wash and it is an amazing turquoise. A little goes a long way.
