Use Rate

CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoon per pound of oils.
MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.
More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.

CP Soap:

White Kaolin Clay behaves perfectly in cold and hot process soaps. Results will be very true to color.
Using too much clay can make the soap feel dry or draggy.
Always mix the clay with a small amount of water first to prevent clumps.
If you're using fragrance oil, you can mix the clay into it beforehand to help the scent last longer.

Beginner recipes were created in Soapcalc using full water. Soaping with full water is ideal for those just learning to make soap. It will make your soap fluid longer and give plenty of time for the delicate swirls we all love!

Advanced Soap Recipes

These recipes have a 33% water discount. This will make it easier to unmold your soap more quickly but will speed up the trace of the soap.

Have not tried the kaolin clay yet but other people I know use it and it works great in their soaps
