This color takes me back to the day I stripped ten layers of paint off an old Victorian slate fireplace. I used a lye paste (it’s not just for soap!) and scrubbed, scraped, and even managed a few battle scars along the way. When I finally reached the slate beneath, it revealed the most beautiful mix of soft gray tones. Slate Expectations captures that hidden beauty perfectly. In cold process soap, it shows off a light, natural slate shade that’s effortlessly elegant and timeless.

Slate Expectations is a mica powder in a velvety soft, pure gray that’s effortlessly elegant. Smooth and refined, it’s the kind of timeless shade that plays well with anything - subtle enough to be sophisticated, yet strong enough to make a statement. Use Rate

CP Soap: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
MP Soap: .5 teaspoon per pound of soap base.

More or less can be added to achieve your desired color.
