Ideal Christmas fragrance

Used this in CP. Yes, it accelerated a bit but nothing you cannot work around if you soap at low temps and stir in after colorants. Still able to do a three color swirl.

Sadly, Very disappointed - Soap on a Stick

The description above states that this does not accelerate. I used my basic recipe with no accelerating butters or oils. I soaped at 90 degrees. I mixed in my lye to barely emulsion stage, split off for colors, hand stirred in the colors and then added my FO to each color. Within 15 seconds I had soap on a stick. This was a nightmare. It then started going into gel phase before I could get it all into the mold. I haven't had a fragrance accelerate on me like this in years. I won't be using it again in soap and unfortunately I won't purchase again because if I can't use it in a soap it doesn't go in my line. The smell is amazing but not worth the trouble of an accelerating FO.

Absolutely love the fragrance! But it caused the soap to seperate in every batch I tried

Absolutely love the fragrance!
But it caused the soap to seperate in every batch I tried. Any solution for that?

The most common causes of separation are a high water content, a large difference in temperature between the oils an lye solution, adding too many additives all at once without fully mixing between additives or using a fragrance oil that has a high alcoohol content (which ours do not!) If you don't already use sodium lactate in your recipe that may help, it tends to help keep the oils emulsified. Also adding the fragrance oil at the end after you've reached trace and slowly mixing it in very thoroughly might help!

Fabulous!

It’s such a beautiful scent. Not overly spicy, warm and comforting. I feel like it’s middle ground for a holiday scent, a hard to find treasure for soap makers. I loved it so much I had to buy more.

Smells like the holidays are here!

I love this scent, it smells warm and spicy and like you’re home for the holidays.

I use this fragrance a lot during the holidays because it does not discolor soap. However, it does accelerate. It’s great when you want to do layers or straight lines because of the acceleration. If you just plan on the acceleration, you can make awesome soaps and use the acceleration to your advantage. This is one of several fragrances where I don’t agree with the “no acceleration“ on the label, where I’m fairly confident it’s the fragrance, and not me. 😁 Used in cold process/oven processed soap.

Christmas in a bottle

When shoppers come up to our booth looking for a Christmas fragrance I had them this bar and they buy it nine times out of 10. It's amazing! It does set up fast so not good for swirls.

I wish I would have ordered a bigger bottle!

I love this scent! it is definitely a feel for the holidays! I ordered the 8 oz to test with and it soaped perfectly in my cp recipe! Ill also be making candles and bath bombs with it for a huge Christmas event in december. I really wish i had gotten the 16 oz instead of the 8 oz, but when testing new scents I try to err on caution. Ill be ordering more for sure in my future holiday line ups as well!
