This has been a go-to fragrance when I want to get creative, and do a more intricate design. This fragrance helps to keep my soap batter fluid longer, sometimes MUCH longer. It's easy to work with, and doesn't discolor the soap.
I have noticed the last few times though, that I can't get the scent to stick. I didn't have this issue when I first started using it. The last two times I used this fragrance in smaller 700 ml loaves, the scent lasted about 6 weeks. By the time they were totally cured, the scent was almost completely gone. I'm not sure if there have been some changes to the fragrance oil, or what is going on exactly, but it's been disappointing. I've been using the same recipe and soaping the same way for quite awhile.
This doesn’t stick very well even with kaolin clay.
